Im a big fan of making things not quite symmetrical. i mean if the design demands absolute symmetry then Im all for it, but if i would have just taken the same lotus/waves and flipped it for this clients piece it would have been fine, but just not really nearly as interesting. Ive taken to telling people I will do pieces like this "symmetrical-ish"
