One of the great untapped mines of imagery for tattoos would have to be Greek mythology, this piece is based on the myth of Daphne trying to escape the unwelcome advances of the God Apollo. As she runs from him Daphne prays to Gaia to be protected and is turned into a tree. Im not sure how that counts as being 'saved', but anyway its a great subject for a tattoo!
