this is a coverup of a very faint outline, so faint that it is sort of cheating to call it a coverup at all. This client is from Rhode Island and wanted to incorporate several things from his home state in the design. The rooster is based on a "Rhode Island Red" rooster, the anchor, stars, and the saying "hope" appear on the flag as well. this picture is from the the second and last session.
